5 Tips to Get A Glowing Skin

Spring is finally in the air, and it’s time to get glowing! There are many ways to do this. One way is with a glowing skin routine that includes these 5 easy steps.

1) Exfoliate your skin once or twice a week

It’s also an easy thing to do at home so you don’t have to spend money going out for treatments that might not work as well. Here are some tips on how to exfoliate your skin twice a week:

Use a gentle scrub with ingredients like sugar, salt, honey, or oatmeal in them instead of harsher scrubs containing chemicals or microbeads which can cause damage and irritation.

Do it when you shower (or bath) because the steam will open up pores making it easier for products like moisturizers and cleansers to get in there.

Exfoliate for at least two minutes because it takes that long for dead skin to remove. Use circular motions all over your face, neck, chest, and hands to keep everything glowing.

2) Moisturize after cleansing

First of all, make sure it has broad-spectrum coverage. This means that it protects against both UVA and UVB rays. Some people might also want to look for products with SPF 50 or higher if they plan on spending more time out in the sun than usual. If you’re not sure what type of sunscreen is best for you, speak with your dermatologist about what their thoughts are on certain brands!

And finally, it’s important to note that while some people may think they don’t need sunscreen on a cloudy day, this just isn’t the case! Clouds only block about 20% of UV rays from reaching your skin. That means on a partly sunny day you’ll still be exposed to 80% of the harmful rays that can cause premature aging and skin cancer.
